This couldn't have been a better day
You have all been so generous and kind;
For us this has been the perfect wedding day
We need to say a few words if you don't mind.

Your gifts have been just what we wanted
They will fill our house beyond our dreams;
There are also all of those family and friends
Who have worked really hard behind the scenes.

From the flowers in the church and bouquets
To the hairdo's and highly polished cars;
There hasn't been a second of anything
That our special day could mar.

The manners and the etiquette
Have been amazing all day long;
The children all delightful
So now we can have a song.

Thanking you seems so very short
When your love and gifts are large;
We hope the smiles and pictures of the day
That our happy gratefulness does emerge.

You all look great and in sunday best
We put the Beckhams to the test;
The children are as always wonderful
They've been behaved their very best.

From the bottom of our hearts
We send you all our love and thanks;
So this toast is especially for you
Now let us have some more drinks.

For our special day is special because of all of you!

We want to thank you for turning up
There have been stops and starts;
Shall we shan't we fears and woes
But now we've swapped our hearts.

The commitment got us worried
But the love has overcome the fear;
We are very happily wed now
That will last us year on year.

Both families have been wonderful
And merged together as one;
Making us so happy and comfortable
We'll all have so much fun.

Everyone has come out today
To wish us well in marriage;
To throw things at us when we laughed
Whilst in our horse and carriage.

Today has been a day that dreams are made of
All of you made them come true;
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts
We love everyone of you.

It's been a pleasure to behold;
Our wedding day - a dream come true
As we swapped our bands of gold.

Some have come from faraway
Some live down the road;
We wouldn't have missed any one of you
Coming to our zip code.

Thank you from the little ones
Right up to the very top;
Grandmas and Grandads especially
We thought you might not stop.

We've just found out whose life and soul
We've all inherited;
Party, party that's the way
No one could have anticipated.

From the bottom of our hearts;
For celebrating by our sides
This day will top our charts!!
