Thank you for your support

I can never thank you enough
For all the help you've given me;
The friendship and support
Has been amazing-unbelievably.

You've turned into the best friend
I could have ever dreamt of;
Words just don't touch the sides
You've shown me so much love.

I hope that maybe someday
There's something I can do;
Or say and show how much I care
Anything to be able to repay you.

Thank you for my life

Every day life brings blessings
They're unbelievable sometimes;
Small but perfect always
When I haven't got a dime.

Thankfulness is the answer
Noticing the blessings that are there;
As sometimes I lose sight of them
And need to say a prayer.

Another day of life
Here in my storybook;
What is going to happen?
I just need to look.

Thank you for the average
25,500 days per soul;
Don't waste a single minute
Miracles happen let's behold.

Thank you to a doctor

Thank you doctor for all you've done
I can't believe you've saved;
I thought I was a goner
I really will behave.

Health eating and smoke no more
I've got a second chance;
I've got my strength of will again
Play the music and let's dance.

You've heard my prayer for help and strength
To find my way out of here;
I can't thank you enough for that
A light in the tunnel to help clear.

My problems are entirely that
Brought about by foolish acts;
I'll get it sorted as soon as poss
Just sorting out the facts.

Thank you for my little girl

The flowers were so beautiful
They came with heartfelt love;
A teddy for a little girl
God lent us from above.

Reminding us of what is good
How precious life is here on earth;
It took a stillborn littl'un
To show us what it's worth.

Thank you to a nurse

When you are feeling sick, or worse,
Thank your dear Maker for your nurse
Whose tender care and ministrations
Are worth sincere congratulations.

The shattered limb, the fevered brow
Are much the same to her somehow.
There is a need, a chance to heal,
To ease the pain that you might feel.

Through all those precious smiles
And words of comfort, as she tends
With all her sharpened skills and guiles
Without complaint, she mends.

Then there comes the day
When you are sent upon your way
-- and you discover, in the end,
That you have had a pleasant visit
With a very special friend.
