A thank you teacher poem

I really now appreciate
You made me learn thro' fun.
Thank you very very much (Miss Giles)
For all you've said and done.

Pupils never forget a teacher
Whether good or bad, that's true
But it's with the fondest of affection
That I'll remember you

You were the only one
Whoever put faith in me;
You said I could and can
Be anything I wanted to be.

You gave me the courage
I didn't know I had;
Where all the others thought
That I was just bad.

I was bored and misunderstood
That's all that was wrong with me;
I can't believe how naughty I was
It was you that helped me see.

Just a little message
I've never had many words;
But for you my bestest teacher
My english has been stirred.

I can't thank you enough
Although I know I've stretched;
Your patience and your skills
On my memory you are etched.

Two special words are Thank You
They don't sound near enough;
But that's all you're going to get
And you have them with my love.

I know the world is round
I know my alphabet;
I'm trying to learn french
But there's bits I just don't get.

You listened, prodded and pushed
When my poor brain really hurt;
There were times I hated you
When sometimes you were curt.

Now I realise you were doing your job
No matter how hard it was for me;
I can only say Thank you now
I've passed with honors and degree.

All of it's down to you;
You encouraged me so much
A very big THANK YOU!

There are many teachers out there
Who wouldn't do what you did;
Extra free tuition times when
You had other things to do,you hid.

You gave yourself in all you did
That meant so much to me;
I gave you my full attention
Now I've passed all successfully.
