The giddy heights never felt before
Can take you in a spin;
So savor every second whilst it's very hot

I was sort of hoping,
That you would come along,
Like the answer to a prayer,
And the music to a song.

Like the kind of thing that happens,
At a special place and time,
That will change our lives forever,
Like a fantasy of mine.

The fantasy was there before,
I ever knew your name,
And now that I have found you,
We will never be the same.

So, pardon, if I look at you,
Forgive me if I stare,
At the fantasy I knew before,
I saw you standing there.

For you I would climb
The highest mountain peak
Swim the deepest ocean
Your love I do seek.

For you I would cross
The rivers most wide
Walk the hottest desert sand
To have you by my side.

For you are the one
Who makes me whole
You've captured my heart
And touched my soul.

For you are the one
That stepped out of my dreams
Gave me new hope
Showed me what love means.

For you alone
Are my reason to live
For the compassion you show
And the care that you give.

You came into my life
And made me complete
Each time I see you
My heart skips a beat.

For you define beauty
In both body and mind
Your soft, gentle face
More beauty I'll ne'er find.

I Love You For So Many Reasons

I love you for that certain smile that cheers me when I'm blue,
I love you for your tender kiss that warms me through and through.
I love you for your gentle hand, your understanding touch,
Your eyes that always seem to say, "I love you very much."
I love you for your faith in me, your sweet and patient ways,
And for the thoughtful things you do so often without praise.
I love you so for all these things and many others, too...
But most of all for what I am whenever I'm with you!

All I know is I can't live without you

In this book of life of ours,
You are my whole chapter on love!
In every sentence and paragraph,
this story around my heart you wove.

As nothing measures near our love
chapter on chapter I can compose.
We're nearly a completed book of art,
you're still beautiful and look like a rose.

I'd like another one of those I say,
outrunning the Garden of Eden.
Our parents never thought we'd last till May
Who ever would've believed 'em.

So parenthood and Mums and Dads

They need and deserve your love
