Dear God we are so grateful
That our son arrived today;
Happy and healthy, looking good
In each and every way.
There had been concerns
Throughout the pregnancy;
That he may have trouble
But he's cuddly and bouncy.
We would like to say
A Thank You to the staff;
They have been superb
We've even had a laugh.

A little girl now dressed in pink
Arrived so beautifully;
On time and easily
Her brother waiting very patiently.
Thank you for our new little one
Our family is now complete;
Mom and Dad, son and baby
All walking down the street.

There have been so many gifts
We can't thank you all enough;
Without these lovely presents
We would have found it tough.
From rattles through to a pram
Blankets and outfits galore;
We thank you for the greatest gift
Of loving this new bundle we adore.

Through to giving birth;
You've all been so wonderful
All so full of mirth.
Your generosity in love
With many gifts galore;
All of you we want to say
Aunts and Uncles we adore.
Grandmas and Grandads
Are very special too;
We couldn't be here without you
We adore you both too.
Thank You!

Godparents have played a special part
And will do so all along;
We know you'll be there no matter what
Whenever, each day and for so long.

To my new little sister
You've made my Mom so happy;
She's got our little family
I'll even change your nappy.
So I'm glad God has chosen you
To be my sister from now on;
I'm loving you very much already
Oh was that a great big yawn!
